The wind is back and todays lesson was Vulcans. Went through the motions
on the simulator then went out on a Skate 90 with a 5.3 Superstar. Found
the board a bit small for the conditions (tend to use a floatier board for
flat water than waves) so went for the Goya FW95 which was better. Bottled
out of the Vulcans as I was going too fast.
Wind dropped a bit later so changed back to the Skate 112 and Disco 5.9.
Got the bottle back and launched into a Vulcan on the way out (port tack),
got round but fell off. Went for many more and made various mistakes like
forgetting to let go with the back hand and forgetting to rotate. Got as
far as sliding on the nose.
